The food quality is good, and the restaurant is spacious, but it can be quite loud, and the decor feels stuck in the '80s. The salads were enjoyable, and I'd consider returning if someone else wanted to go. However, the entrees were average and quite expensive. If I’m going to spend that much on a meal, I can think of better places to choose from. That said, if you're looking to people-watch, have a drink, and enjoy appetizers and salad, then it's worth a try.
It's been a few years since my last visit, but I always remembered Houston's for its excellent food. I wasn't disappointed when we went last Sunday evening.
Food was fine but service was poor. My friend who has cancer was wearing a ball cap and the host refused to sit us in the main room. She said we could sit in the bar area! We did but my friend was hurt.
