When will we finally have a great Indian restaurant in Fort Lauderdale? The service was good, but not exceptional. More than half of the vegetables seemed to be frozen. I inquired about chilies or hot chutney on the side, but instead was given jalapeños and Sriracha. Each dish we ordered had sugar added to it, which was quite disappointing. Extensive very fresh Indian menu with very attentive staff. We tried several appetizers and entrees and everything was great!
The servers are friendly and offer prompt, professional service. Food is consistently good. Large variety of dishes and flavors. Rice is quite wonderful. Several different flavors of Naan...all delicious. Everyone we've introduced to the 5th Element enjoys it.
If they like Indian food, this restaurant will rock their world!

This was my first visit to 5th Element and I am very glad that we dined there. It is a bit of a drive from where we live but since we love Indian food it was worth the effort. Almost all of the others guests seemed to be Indian and there were several large family groups having dinner. The food was very good and reasonably priced. I will definitely go again.
