The carne asada steak was ok. The ribs were no longer good though. Check your purchase before cooking.
Honestly I have liked this place for a long time but after my experience I will never ever return here like honestly over my dead body but seriously this place is disgusting because I bought some tortillas and when I opened them I realized they had mold on them. Never come here I think they should shut this business down and maybe it was only a pack of tortillas but that pack could have made someone sick that could’ve resulted in a bigger problem and they didn’t even return my money which was honestly so d because if they had mold then I want my money back but now they made a huge deal about it and if I could I would give it zero stars because they don’t deserve anything after this so your policy is d because you can only give credit and not money back honestly such a d policy because after this I would never go here because of my experience so just a warning please never come here or you might end up in my situation so overall this is the worst place I’ve never been too such a horrible place honestly I hate this place and will never ever step foot in that place again. ????????????????????????????????????????
I stopped by quickly to get a couple packs of flour tortillas. Mom had made abondigas and needed to complete the meal, I grabbed a couple of packs right off the top of counter thinkin ' they were Fresh got home to find they were covered in green spots all throughout one pack and the other was starting to turn. I used to love coming here because it was the neighborhood store . The Meat counter used to look so good and clean, and the smells of freshly made carnitas. Now things look unkept, and even the area where they made burritos is vacant. I asked about a tamale once they said they didn 't have any, i was told i 'd have to order by the dozon. Its just a shame the small places that we used to love can 't keep up their work ethics and cleanliness. I understand Covid has hit everyone hard but this place had been hurting even before. I really hope they find their passion again and bring this Pomona landmark back to its original luster. We miss it.
Good place to buy the stuff you need for making tamales.
