Contribute FeedbackThe place is called Rambo..... and clearly the owner sees himself as something of a Rambo figure. There is camouflage netting for nightshades, snake skin and guns (replicas I would expect) on the wall. There are also pictures of the proprietor Rambo'd up, on posters inside and out. However, it is difficult to see how seriously any one takes themselves. It is possible that the format might have been explained to an Italian, but being English we just fell in with what was offered. And what was on offer was a plate of antipasti comprising salami, mozzarella, proscuito and melon and a bruschetta with some sort of vegetable paste on top. Once we finished that, we were offered pasta but we all declined and opted for the pizza. The pizzas are vast nearly 2ft across. They are pre sliced and have a range of toppings. The quality of the pizza is good thin crust and crispy. No one asked what we wanted on the pizza but It was not clear if all the tables were getting the same mix or you could, in fact, order what you wanted. There was no sign of any salad to accompany the pizza and although we stopped at one pizza, it was clear other people were getting 2 or more delivered to their tables. I think I saw someone with some kind of meat from the grill, but again, it was not something we wanted. We had a litre of red wine between three of us, 2 coffees and one of our party had an ice cream. The meal came to under E35. The service was courteous and quick. The place seemed to be popular. We went on a Monday night and there were, maybe, 8 to 10 other tables occupied. However, the place is vast and could probably seat a couple of hundred.
