A few people have mentioned to me that this place is a good place to take the kids. Staff were quick to seat us and very welcoming. Kids eat three courses for £5 and to be fair the portion seizes on the mains and puddings were pretty good. The place was clean and tidy and although it started to get busy in this bank holiday in school holidays the staff were on it and quick to serve and clean tables. Only one thing was that the lock on the males toilet door didn’t work l, but the toilets themselves were well maintained. Overall, for a family of 5 with drinks, the price was £50 so pretty spot on. A good place to take the kids for a quick bite
Our visit was lovely , we had to stop for a quick lunch , the place was very nice, food quality was good. My husband was having an online meeting and the girls were accommodating , found a nice quiet table , nice with the little one gave some activity sheets to entertain. We tried the new tramissu flat white was lovely tasted like Irish latte in a sense . The pri pri chicken was lovely , juicy, good for money. Kids meal is super saver , 3 courses for £5 ! The brownie in kids menu tasted superb and they kindly put in a takeaway case . Will definitely try again
We had a lovely meal as always, the service is always very good and the waiter that never writes anything down is awesome! Really enjoyed the Trio of Pies on this visit.
We booked a table for 7 (4 adults, 3 children) online the day before our Sunday breakfast. Unlimited breakfast was £9.99 and kids eat free , which we found to be the best offer compared to other similar restaurants. We were swiftly seated but we wanted a window table so we could see our car in the car park as the dog was in the car with the windows open. We asked and the staff were very accommodating in moving us to a suitable spot and even offered water for our dog. The continental breakfast was really well stocked with cereal, fruit, jams, bread, juice and pastries etc. There was even plenty of mugs for the hot drinks (seems odd but other restaurants we 've experienced have a lack of mugs). The staff were very quick at taking our cooked breakfast order and when this arrived it was warm and very tasty. We all cleared our plates including the usually fussy children. Whilst there, I witnessed the staff being very attentive, keeping the tables clear after people left and cleaning up the restaurant quickly. I also witnessed how quickly and how lovely they were to a child that had been poorly in the restaurant. Not only clearing up quickly after her but being amazing at cheering her up. I 've never come across such a friendly and attentive team of staff who work so efficiently to provide a top service to customers. The restaurant and toilet facilities were lovely and clean and had a lovely atmosphere. Would definitely eat here again when visiting Eastbourne.
