Santa Maria Del Giogo - POLAVENO

La domenica è stato fantastico brunch con salame alle 12. C'era ancora poca affluenza ed eravamo ben esposti al sole con una vista panoramica sulle splendide montagne di Brescia e sul bellissimo lago d'Iseo. Il panino con il salame grigliato era davvero buono. Purtroppo il vino rosso della casa non era all'altezza, servito troppo freddo. Per il resto del menu, ti consiglio di provare da te stesso. Una gemma nascosta a Brescia chiamata Salamina.

Amazing place. This Listeria at the top of the mountain offer amazing views to the Isle lake that fully justify a visit. Great for mountain bikers, road bikers and trekkers. There is a narrow road (in excellent conditions) that allow access by car or road bike, but you will need excellent driving skills (and brakes on the way down). Access for mountain bike and walking is strangely easier. Now the menu is extremely simple (2 primi, 2 mains, antipasti local salumi and home deserst) prices low (for Italy) quality average. The pasta is not home made or properly cook sauces simple, griliata or barbecue dry. Food is not great but the view and warm service justify a visit. Futhermore is affordable T

I live in Brescia....this is my hometown..but this place is absolutely amazing! If u like Hiking u can reach this curch by Foot starting from Sulzano, Tassano or via Nistisino.. The walk is pretty easy if u love walking... when u r on the top u can have a meal by the restaurant near the curch ... u r gonna be really impressed by the view! Enjoy it !
