We were close by staying at the Grand Hotel so after a long journey decided to eat at the restaurant, but didn't realise that restaurant specialised in Alsace cuisine, with a number of shoucrout dishes, none of which I had tried before. We arrived for a late lunch due to travelling and were recommended this restaurant by our hotel, as it serves all day. It maybe that we just arrived after the main busy lunch run, but the service was pretty shabby - we had to remind the waiter twice about our drinks and really make an effort to get the waiters attention. Food was good and portions generous. just slack service for the price you are paying. View all feedback.

Service was excellent the food was delicious it was indeed a pleasure dining at la taverne de maitre
Flamenkuch with barely warmed salmon, idem for peasant sauerkraut...
Choucroute cooked at least 5 times, meat fade, sausage bad quality and all cold.
