We had flown to Paris from Canada and caught the TGV down to Poitiers and had about 90 minutes before catching the train to Limoges. Lovely quiet spot for a plat du jourvand glass of wine before heading home! And it saves dragging heavy suitcases all over the place. We had a glass of rosé and the Tagliatelle bolognaise it was very good. View all feedback.

As I was staying in the Ibis close by, I thought on the first night I would try this restaurant. The main course I ordered was no longer available on that evening, the waitress suggested another (dearer) on the menu and said I could have it for the same price as what I originally wanted. The food was not haut cuisine, but well prepared and tasty. The service was very quick and everybody was very friendly. The décor is modern and was charming. I ended up eating there for 3 nights.
We ordered lunch whilst waiting for a train to Paris, from the dish of the day (Turkey) to the steak tartare everything was great about this meal. If one distraction it was the lack of a wine list (beyond vin rouge/vin blanc) but the wine (we ordered the white) was a quality Chablis that we were more than happy with. Great wait staff and wonderful facilities, why climb the 100 stairs to the city ! Highly recommended.
