Wonderful laid back cafe in Pt Roberts. They had gluten-free bread and the food was very good. Lots of outside seating. Dietary restrictions: It’s a shared kitchen so if cross contamination is an issue it could be a problem. The gluten-free bread was delicious. View all feedback.
What Doug “Whistler Realtor” Treleaven doesn't like about Saltwater Café:
It was a bit disorganized, but that’s understandable for a busy Saturday. The patio was lovely, and the Reuben sandwich I had was fantastic. Unfortunately, my other order was incorrect. View all feedback.
Although it was the day before Independence Day, there were no tomatoes. I had to change my order, but it was nice that the indoor and outdoor patios were spacious.
Got recommended by a local after coming down from Vancouver. Ordered, and wasn 't told until afterwards it 'd be a wait , no ballpark estimate given when asked. Took 45 mins to get a panini (have receipts to prove that) and it was cold and soggy by the time I got it. It just sat on the counter for a long time (based on another employee when I finally asked), so it was kind of gross. I would understand if it was super busy, but they had 3 tables and they 'd all already had their food. Other group near me had to follow up 3 times to get their 2 beers they 'd ordered, so it wasn 't just me. I 'm usually pretty patient, hence waiting 45 mins to ask, but it was kind of ridiculous. On a sunny day I could see how the vibe would be really nice. It was raining while I was there and it was still fine. But I really wouldn 't recommend coming here, because the management seemed snippy at the staff and it was kind of frustrating watching people get treated poorly.
My first meal in the US! delish food and friendly service made for a warm and relaxed lunch vibe
Not many choices , but the staff was unfriendly First thing the guy said was , if you want food it will be at least 30’min to get it. Inquiring about a cappuccino he said the machine was not working. Food was good but rather pricy All in all can’t recommend , but again not many choices in the area
