Started the season early yesterday since it was nice out here on Long Island. Buoy Bar gave us that Summer- is- coming vibe we needed. We ordered so many apps! Clams, tuna, mussels, soup, oysters , you name it we ate it. The mussels were the stand out here! We then had the audacity to order MORE! I had the Mahi Mahi fish tacos and they were lite and tasty. My nephew had the burger and it looked great. Service was gre... View all feedback.
This restaurant has a charming local vibe and is situated right by the water. Upon entering, it can be a bit confusing as there’s no one at the front to guide you or greet you, so you have to navigate on your own. Parking can be tricky, but that's simply due to the location. Despite this, I still rated the restaurant four stars because once we did find assistance, the staff was friendly, and the overall atmosphere was quite relaxing.
The food and drinks were wonderful, and the atmosphere was superb. We enjoyed a stunning sunset while we ate.
Can't believe I didn't review this place yet... It is Always good and service is awesome !! Never been disappointed !! Nice area with view on the water, service is always great, Fish are always fresh and good quality.
Great food and the place was very nicely done. Looks like it could be open year round. It has an outdoor extension which is heated and also has Air conditioning. Great view of the water. We had steamers which were good size and fresh. I also had the grilled cheese with bacon and crab cake. This sandwich was out of this world. A little heavy but worth it????. The kitchen was a bit small but very clean and the kitchen staff worked very well together( I went by to take a lookmyself and there's also a very nice seating area outside. Haven't been here in a few years but very glad we came.
I visited this restaurant on a Friday evening, and it was a blast during the summer! Vacationers from nearby accommodations were enjoying meals and drinks while taking advantage of the small beach area just behind the restaurant. There are two food options available, which can be a bit confusing at first, but once you figure it out, it’s fantastic. You don’t have to opt for the more expensive clams and lobster at the bar; you can also grab some beach favorite foods from a charming little hut on the side. Additionally, there’s a cute refurbished camper selling shirts, shorts, flip-flops, and other adorable souvenirs to remember your fun summer trip to the beach. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making it an overall enjoyable experience.
