The staff was very professional and took the time to explain to me the various varieties of British cheeses. They gave me the option of bringing in my own plate as a cost saving measure. The final presentation was lovely. View all feedback.
Since the place opened have stopped here to restock supplies. There is am ever changing product selection. Always something to savour. Came by for parmesan reggiano and also snag some grill cheese sandwiches during point edward garage sale . Yumyum hit the spots.
Great spot to try new cheeses from local favourites to international specialties. Friendly service as you are educated on the different varieties and possible food pairings. There's always something new to try and we usually go home with a new favourite added to our order. Truly a local treasure spot.
I visited The Cheese Store on the main drag of Point Edward on the hunt for a cheese to compliment the apple bread I brought home from a recent trip to The Big Apple near Trenton, Ontario.The owner of The Cheese Store is friendly and knowledgeable. I asked him to recommend a cheese to go with the apple bread. Without any hesitation, he suggested Applewood Smoked Cheddar.It was an excellent choice: grilled apple bread with smoked applewood cheddar cheese (I put very thin slices of apple in the sandwich as well). So good!The Cheese Store has a wide variety of cheeses for every budget and occasion along with all kinds of crackers, condiments, etc. You can purchase as much or as little as you like. It's fun to try tasting a new cheese.They'll make up platters, trays, whatever you like.Next up: trying out the patio with a brand, new cheese!
We went in to see what they had. Quite a lot of unusal cheese, we were offered a taste of any of the cheese they had ( we declined).The downside was that there was no prices on the cheee (per pound) and I do not like to ask the price of each one They have quite a few unique items in their store and I would go back in to purchase some of these things when doing up a gift basket. .
Great variety of yummy cheeses. and much more. very easy to find with parking. a good place to grab a quick snack
