Dolly takes a lot of pride in her food. Someone wrote that their food was cold. They could've mentioned it to Dolly and I'm sure she'd happily heat it up for them. I love her curried chicken and roti! I detest the meat patties sold in convenience store. But I LOVE Dolly's patties! Something different in Sarnia and worth trying out. 5 stars for Dolly! What User doesn't like about Dolly's Jerk Joint:
The rice and peas was cold. The chicken was already cooked then reheated on the grill as Dolly basted it with more jerk sauce. The chicken however was not bad. Her homemade patty was good but, again, cold. The whole meal which was 3 pieces of chicken, a small doll up of rice and some very mayo like cold slaw. The price was $13 plus tax which is a way too expensive. I get jerk chicken, rice and peas with oxtail gravy... View all feedback.
It was tasty. It was unique. It was HOT (but I love hot). Dolly has some menu items I have yet to try but will likely go there tomorrow !
Loved Loved Loved Dolly's Jerk Joint. I've been waiting for something like this in Sarnia my whole life. A little pricer than what I'm used to paying at other Caribbean restaurants, but worth it nonetheless!!! Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant!!!
Her food is truly home made! So far I've had the chicken roti, jerk chicken, patty and cod cakes and they were all delicious! My favourites so far are the roti bread itself, the curry chicken and the cod cakes, damn, I could eat them all day! Yes, she reheats the chicken for the jerk recipie, but imagine how long it would take to cook your order if she didn't? Still delicious! Hopefuly she'll get a bigger place and stay open later! I look forward to being her customer for a long time!

Food was, sorry just ok. My mother and i only found the roti to be great tasting. The prices are steep for the portion you receive. 5$ for a jamaican patty that was not bursting at the seems with filling , come on. Sorry the jerk chicken was not the best either. We had goat also which was 50/50 bones/meat but the flavours were there. Again the price gets you. Four combos &1patty =72$. I'm not going back unless i hear, see and taste the difference from my first and only visit.
