The main course is very good, It therefore deserves the maximum of the vote (5 stars), the desert is good enought so 4 stars for it, unfortunately the service is by no means at the level to which restaurants aspires and in particular it is really poor the attention to children (1 star). Media 3 stars View all feedback.
We had lunch at Valicella several times this summer and last summer. The food is absolutely delicious, very tasty, fresh and beautifully presented. The staff is very friendly and professional. The location is perfect, the beach is quiet and clean. It has become our favorite place in Haute-Corse.
Great food although a little in the expensive side. Location is excellent and shaded area for cocktails and/or lunch/dinner is superb.
Personnel très agréable , tres bel endroit agréable et bien décoré ! Les pieds dans l'eau ... les tarifs sont assez élevés mais le goût y est ! Nous y reviendrons .
The setting (painting and decoration) and the quality of the desserts will be retained. A priori the map is alluring. Yet the plate is neither at the height of what is announced, nor at the height of its price. 32€ for cream tagliatelles with only 4 Saint-jacques, 39€ for inguines and a half lobster too cooked, 24€ for hazelnut and olive oil inguines... The desserts are made by a pastry chef, they are very good and enjoy a beautiful presentation: a thousand-feuille mousse with raspberry, supreme chocolate pralined, mousse passion raspberry... But their price is still overvalued: 13.5€. In short, an addition as salty as the sea facing the restaurant!
We came to the third party for dinner and had as an appetizer two tomatoes Mozarella and once Carpa de St.Jaques. The tomatoes of Mozarella were garnished with Rucola Salat, which, however, was not washed with my wife, i.e. there was plenty of earth. The complaint was noted. The main court consisted of again twice Sucre Sal de Gambas, who were quite well done. The other main dish of Cala Langouste was unfortunately not worth its price of 38€, because the noodles were not specially dressed and the Languste was probably a little on the dry side due to the gratination. Dessert: Entremet 3 chocolats very successful and a recommendation. Macaron Pistache/Griottes was also very delicious. At the order we wanted to order a digestif, which was prevented by the boss, because he wanted to issue it. Unfortunately, the bill subsequently kept for an extremely long time and the promised digestif did not remain a trace. There was also no excuse for the earth salad. Our conclusion: service and quality could not meet the high price.
