I recommend this restaurant.

Nice garden, unpretentious, friendly and goo... read more We had 2 lovely meals here in June 2022. Antipasti fantastic, they brought out more than we ordered 'just to try '. Nice garden, unpretentious, friendly and good value. As well as the antipasti we had various pasta dishes and the tagliata di manzo. It was all delicious. Gigi was super friendly and gave us liquors after.

Had we visited mor... read more We visited Ozium during August whilst on holiday in Poggiardo. It's ranked #1 on tripadvisor but should probably be #2 in our groups opinion. Had we visited more restaurants in Poggiardo I would imagine it would be lower still. We emailed the restaurant to book but didn't receive a reply. We turned up and they asked if we had booked. It is a large restaurant with many tables. At this time of the evening there was only one table taken and from their response we were unsure whether we would get a table. We stayed for approximately 1.5 hours and even when we left it wasn't full. The food on the whole was acceptable but nothing extraordinary. Service left a little to be desired. Everything fr... read more I visited Ozium on one of the evenings of my holiday in Santa Cesarea and it was definitely my favourite spot for food/drinks from the whole trip. Everything from the vibes to the food to the service itself was just incredible and it was all thanks to the amazing staff on that evening. One waiter in particular, I didn’t get his name, but he was just absolutely outstanding from start to finish and made the night feel so special and like we were the only people there. From the very start he was so welcoming, nothing was too much bother, his English translation was pretty much perfect and he was always happy to give suggestions with the food and cocktails, which were very creative. I would like to leave him a HUGE thank you for making the night so enjoyable and easy. The food was also super tasty and generous portions for not too bad of a price. After the meal, we enjoyed one more cocktail outside and was greeted with some marshmallows which were toasted in front of us and it just made the perfect finishing touch to a perfect evening. If I could leave more stars I most definitely would! If you get the chance to visit, I couldn’t recommend it enough.
