What a lovely place to eat. Very airy with a lovely setting. Good atmosphere and excellent service and food. I'll admit we've been guilty not to have visited sooner. I wish we had! What Ann doesn't like about Woody's Cook House:
Quite disappointing. Burnt chips actually they were skin on wedges. Greasy, underseasoned pasta carbonara. Underseasoned fish pie. Maybe we were unlucky but probably won 't try again View all feedback.

Excellent service, food and drinks!! Would highly recommend. Customer service was personal and professional and we felt very welcome and comfortable. Will definitely return when visiting pocklington again
We visited last week while contemplating moving to the area ..excellent atmosphere ,great food and drink..friendly staff..we'll definitely come back..
Still memorable a year on, used to be my old bank and I love what they have done with the place. Really beautiful restaurant and food to match.
Went for Sunday lunch ,the service was very slow ,but when the food finally arrived it was delicious ,lovely place ,seating very cramped, couldn't pass each other so had to stand up and push chairs in to let people out ,
