Senor Iguanas - Pocatello

As a Pocatello resident, I finally tried Senor Iguanas tonight and was impressed. The service was friendly and prompt, and the food was delicious. I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion sizes. We ordered three foot-long burritos expecting them to be small but long, but they were huge! One burrito was enough to feed my family of five. We will definitely be returning to Senor Iguanas.

The best part of the meal was the fresh, unlimited salsa served before the main dishes. The entrees were generous in size and reasonably priced ($6-$10 each), but seemed to prioritize quantity over quality. There were limited choices for vegetarians.

Despite the building's condition and the somber atmosphere, the food at this restaurant was unexpectedly delicious. The exterior did not accurately reflect the quality of the cuisine inside. With just a bit of creativity and an investor to revamp the space and inject some magic into the atmosphere, this place has the potential to go from good to great. While the food is currently excellent, it has the potential to be even more amazing if customers are greeted with excitement rather than concern about the ambiance affecting their meal.

The food was amazing, I had their asada taco, it was just the right size that one was plenty for me, their refried beans were really good as well, but I would have to say their chips and salsa were my favorite. Our waitress was amazing, she kept our drinks full and brought extra chips and salsa without being asked. I will be stopping there again the next time we are in Pocatello Idaho. Thanks for a great experience.
