Himalayan Flavor - Pocatello

As far as Indian and Eastern Cuisine goes, Himalayan Flavor is up there as an authentic representation of the food. Many similar restaurants tend to have a watered-down version of the meals. My wife and I both enjoyed our food. A word of caution for those less 'heat-tolerant ', we both ordered a 5 out of 10 on the spicy scale and mine was WAY spicier. Overall, very enjoyable and flavorful food with wonderful and attentive service.

Great place for decent Indian food. The Chicken curry and Daal Tadka were really good. The naans were soft and delicious. Overall, I highly recommend this place. Spice level of 7 means mild though. so if you like spicy food, try spice level 9 or 10

Great food, great flavor, good service. As an interesting side fact, they got a new Chef that is apparently Hindu and does not want to cook beef. This is not a bad thing, it is great that he is following his culture. McDonald’s in Hyderabad does not serve beef… this is an excellent restaurant!

I was amazed by the small beautiful Indian Restaurant, Himalayan Flavor. Their Buffet was amazing. I am vegetarian and I had plenty of options. It felt like home. Great customer service. They are very attentive. Will be back whenever we are in town. Thank you for the awesome food and service.

Wow!!! I loved the food and atmosphere!!! I heard Himalayan Flavor got new management and so I gave them a chance and I loved it! The Chicken Masala and Garlic and cheese Naan was amazing!!! Table for one it was plenty of food and I had some to take home to save for later. The flavor was phenomenal and the spice level was perfect I asked for a level 5 spice and it wasn’t too spicy. Then a live musician showed up to perform and just added to my Friday night!! I highly recommend it for a sit down restaurant. It seemed a lot of over the phone orders came in too so that’s an option. Friendly service and got complimentary rice pudding dessert! Five stars!!
