Everything tasted great! Was hoping for a thicker ribeye for the price, but it did taste great! Staff was great and the place was very clean! Enjoyed the appropriately volume controlled live music! Nice touch! Will definitely be back! View all feedback.
What Blake Williams doesn't like about The Ranch House At The James Ranch:
Food and atmosphere were great. The young ladies waiting tables were not attentive and could care less about their job. Our food arrived before our drinks, and the drinks remained empty until we decided the pitcher of sweet tea would suffice even though we did not have sweet tea. Live music, good food but seemed to be microwave, nice

We actually arrived a little early (before opening time) but the staff allowed us to sit at a table and have a drink. We ordered the appetizer specials of filet medallions wrapped with bacon and jalapeno popper dip. Both were excellent! Our main entrees were the rib eye and the seafood pasta. The rib eye unfortunately was undercooked and needed to be returned to the kitchen for some more heat but the seafood pasta was excellent. All in all, it was a very good dinner date and we would recommend people come visit the staff at “JR”.
We had supper on the patio. Food was great. Waitress was very efficient and friendly. Woods all around, and we saw many deer while waiting for our food. It was a looong drive to the restaurant on a gravel/dirt road, but signs kept us going .

I understand in the rural environment most of them know the patrons, and the staff is very casual. However, this isn't the case for all of us and we traveled a long way for an expensive mediocre experience.
