Hickory Bq - Pocahontas

We hadn't ordered in a long time so we decided to use their online ordering menu. It's a nice feature but they have no online payment processor and I had to go to the bank to withdraw cash to pay in person. Also, there was a lot of confusion about the order and the lady who took it didn't listen very well. All told, it was a great food, I have to say and they are generous with the pork meat, etc. but one odd thing is that the owner calls you to see if you're coming to get your food if you are even 10 minutes later than you said. Like someone is going to forget their lunch? LOL!

Great tasting food and Stormy the waitress was amazing and a hard worker

If I could put a zero star I would. The so called manager is completely rude! She couldn't even stop her conversation long enough to let us know we could seat ourselves. Lost 4 customers today! And trust me they don't look like they can afford to lose customers.

My first time here, it was a large BBQ sandwich and fries ?. I would drive a long ways for a return visit.

Surprisingly good food, being fairly new to the Pocahontas Arkansas area I am just trying out different restaurants and I was pleasantly surprised with the Catfish plate and the BBQ Salad. The server was informative on the menu and very nice checking on us often.
