Don's Steakhouse - Pocahontas

One of the best places I've eaten at in a long time! Great service with great food! Went in a group of 10 and everyone ordered different food with all of it coming out quick and tasting spectacular!

Food was fine. Service was good. Experience at the cash register was terrible. We ordered the lunch special (with special pricing) with our waitress which was on the menu board. At checkout, I was told that it ended at 1:30, but there was no indication on the menu board to that effect. Also, I was not given the senior citizen discount which is prominently displayed on every page of the menu. When I asked about it, the only response was “do you want a copy of the receipt?” A bad ending to an otherwise good lunch.

We drove up here and selected a place at random as part of the eclipse, and we were delighted at this establishment. Good food, good service, good prices! I had the jumbo cheese burger with bacon, and cheese sticks and onion rings.

This is by far the best place to eat in Pocahontas. The food is so freaking good. Their hushpuppies will make you wanna slap yo momma, but they so good she gonna slap you back. All the food is great. Portions are perfect size and prices good as well. All of the servers are great. Kassadee is our favorite. And sorry, but this one is better than the one in Walnut Ridge.

Claimed to be open until 9pm. Got there at 8:15 and was denied service.
