Promenad - Plyos

A great café right in the heart of Plyos. The food is delicious, the ambiance is beautiful, and everything is clean. The veranda offers a wonderful view of the Volga River embankment. They are open until midnight, which allows for a late dinner, but it's best not to delay as the kitchen might close earlier than expected. The fish soup made with a mix of fish and shrimp is excellent. Keep in mind that on weekdays, you can usually find an empty table, but on weekends and holidays, it's better to reserve a table in advance.

The food was like that of a cafeteria, while the prices were on par with a Moscow restaurant. Plёs is undoubtedly beautiful, but there are no other dining options, so I had to visit this place twice. Both times were a stretch; I just had a meal without any real enjoyment. … However, there was one negative emotion. The okroshka resembled a glass of kvass with a few scraps of potato and cucumber floating on top… Quite strange. The chairs on the terrace are uncomfortable, making it hard to sit there for long periods; I didn't really want to either! It was always crowded, like an anthill, due to the complete lack of competition! By lunchtime the next day, I was eager to leave and find somewhere else to have a proper meal outside of Plёs.

Excellent location! The waitstaff are polite and efficient. We settled on the terrace with a stunning view of the Volga River, enjoying wine and delicious appetizers.

Второй раз была в этом месте. Очень хороший ресторан. Залы на 2 х этажах и веранда. Приятное оформление, приятная тихая музыка. Вечером посетителей много, но обслужили быстро. Официант Виталий подробно ответил на наши вопросы о составе блюд, порекомендовал хорошее вино. Заказывали салаты, утку и рыбу. Всё очень вкусно. Печёная картошечка к рыбе и грибочки объедение! На десерт взяли замечательное мороженое. Цены, как везде в Плёсе, московские.
