We fancied a good old Pasty for a change and Oggy Oggy was our choice. Good Service and good choice. Pasties were very good and thoroughly enjoyable. Only downside in my opinion very overpriced. View all feedback.
What Deborah D doesn't like about Oggy Oggy Pasty Company:
Shame The shop front on this cafe is tiny ,pasty counter directly at the door . Bought pasties and drinks for my family and then went to sit down outside on the tables available. The owner came out stating we couldn't sit there because not for takeaways??? I hadn't asked for a takeaway ... being disabled with a badly broken arm it isn't the easiest thing to eat without a chair and table !! When I said no difference w... View all feedback.
SERVICE: I don't understand why they would serve a sausage roll that was so dried up from being in the display case for too long. Today, I came in, ordered, sat down, and waited 20 minutes for my food. When it finally arrived, it was awful. When I showed it to the server, she just said that it dries out sometimes. If that's the case, then why would they serve it? I got my money back, but I just can't comprehend the logic behind serving such poor quality food. I won't be returning as a customer.
The staff at this restaurant are attentive and friendly. The food is hot, well cooked, and there are plenty of options to choose from - including scrambled or fried eggs, brown or white bread, and decaf tea - all at a very reasonable price.
The taste of the pasties has improved over the years, it is getting better, worth a look theres much worse places you could go
I spoke to a lady called Krisie who was able to deliver 30 pasties at very late notice to my location. She was very helpful and the pasties were great!
We were doing some shopping in town and fancied a coffee, I opted in to help the homeless and told the lady I was happy to spend £1.99, then she tried to charge me £17.99 including what we were having two coffees and two buns, £9.99 for the homeless, I put her right I was waiting to be given a token to take to the homeless guy outside, nothing was given, I coukd hear her saying and pointing towards me, talk about rude, well we wont be back thats guaranteed.
