Feedback
Jaws Fish and Chips serves up a variety of experiences, often reflecting the highs and lows of casual dining. While many patrons rave about the delicious fish, crispy batter, and generous portions, recent visits have highlighted troubling inconsistencies in food quality and service. Complaints about overcooked chips and surprising extra charges for items that typically come as a meal deal have surfaced, leaving some feeling disappointed and overcharged. Despite occasional issues, a majority of customers appreciate the friendly staff and the inviting atmosphere, ensuring that even amidst critiques, there's a strong core of loyal fans.
Cod and chips? Fillet of whale, more like. King sized portions, cooked as you order. Best I've found in Plymouth. Drive to the Asda carpark and Jaws is down the steps, on the left hand side. Fab.
A little slow. Average price A fair wait for most of what we buy. Despite the biodegradable and microwave-proof packaging, it was placed in a plastic bag which caused our fries, fish bounces, etc. to be wet, soaked and fresh before completing our 12-minute journey home. We also consider that peas are disposed of with a slightly slotted spoon. When we opened our small container, the two upper thirds were pale liquid and the few papylla peas in the background barely reached for a half dozen chips.
At lunchtime, on Tuesdays, I always use close work as decent food at bell price compared to any local place to eat. Anyway, ordering my fish and regular fries, the lady behind the counter mentioned that they are making battered pigs in blankets for the Christmas period. I didn't think it would work well together, but I'm glad I asked for one was really nice, surprisingly, and the fries and the spicy curry sauce was great, as it's usually never had a bad meal and I recommend it to my coworkers.
Lovely fresh food and friendly staff.popped in on a tuesday lunchtime the best fish and chips I've had in a while
So on Friday 22 I entered the chip shop and was also very busy. I ordered my order and got exactly what I asked. But seeing a woman of brown and short hair (woman disturbing) who chopped her armpit with her bare hand and continued working alongside the fryer. It's sad to say that I really got sick and it hasn't happened just once. Besides that, food is always very good. The woman has a 16-year-old girl who's swearing I think she's her daughter. You can never criticize this place, but that woman has to go?
