Friary Mill is fantastic! The pasties are delicious, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the eggs are fresh and large. They also offer a salad bar, everything here is top-notch. View all feedback.
What Jannerbloke doesn't like about Friary Mill:
Suburban branch of local bakery chain, just off the mini roundabout at Higher Compton and close to the post office. Parking less convenient than for the filling station supermarket or the Co-op. Range of routine bread, pastries and pasties. Polite staff but the goods are the same as in any other Friary Mill. View all feedback.
Love this place always pop in for some sandwiches, always tempted by the sweet smell of pasties and sausage rolls ,always friendly service
Waited in a que at 12:20 in the shop to purchase some food. If the proprietors have installed security cameras have a look and listen, uneducated idiots. I would sack them today. There show no retail skills what so ever.
My son has moved to work in London and everytime he comes home he always makes a bee line for this bakery. I think the title of this review sums it up. Lovely pasties and cakes. There are always long queues which speaks volumes. Staff are very helpful and go the extra mile
We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant with fantastic pastry cakes that were great value for money. They were the best pastries we have had in a long time, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating to me and my two daughters.
The steak pasty was filled with tough meat and undercooked potatoes, enveloped in pale pastry. The bacon slice and sausage roll were unappetizing and fatty. The Eccles cake lacked fruit and had a thick, unpleasant pastry. The Belgian bun was dry and inedible. Overall, our experience at Friary Mill was disappointing as we were served low-quality food for the money we spent. We will not be returning and would rather go hungry than eat here again.
