We always eat early so it's usually quiet. The food has always been first class as is the service. Not inexpensive but nothing is these days. It's one of our go to spots. View all feedback.
What BigAl doesn't like about Five Steakhouse:
We had a 5:00pm reservation, so it was not crowded, but the service was very slow. We had to ask for bread, apparently not served unless requested. The food was ok but not as good as you would expect from an upscale restaurant. Also had a $100 gift card, our bill was $96.32 but couldn't use the difference as part of tip, never heard of this. We went to Five for our anniversary. The staff and food were outstanding. I hope you are lucky enough to have Hope as your waitress. She is familiar with the menu, made great suggestions, and regularly stopped by our table to check on us. We will definitely be back. Thanks to Marie and the staff for a great experience.
My wife and I had three meals at Five while staying at Saint John's Resort. Two dinners and one breakfast. Each of my meals contained an error. The first dinner I ordered a filet and was served a ribeye. I never order ribeye so there isn't a chance that I did. My wife had the crabcakes which were just OK. Presentation was mediocre. I will say we started with a charcuterie platter which was very good and fairly priced. For breakfast a minor detail but my toast had no butter while my wife's did. another lack of attantion to detail. the second dinner I ordered a caesar salad and was brought a wedge. They swapped it out but nonetheless another mistake. Overall the food and the service was good. Managers did check with us about the first dinner mistake and I told them I would eat the ribeye which was good but no offer to discount the price or even lower the cost to the staek I actually ordered. So I would reccomend Five, but keep a close eye on what you ordeer and what you get. Oh, and by the way. A shot of Maker's is $11, OK not bad, but get it on the rocks and they charge you $2.50 for the ice. I could buy a whole bag of ice for that!

Dietary restrictions: Very good with special diets and allergies
Came in this morning for Saturday brunch, we sat out on the patio, and it was really pretty. The hostess and waitstaff were friendly, but the service was extremely slow. Food took forever and it was not busy. I asked for my steak to be medium rare, after waiting for 30 minutes it came out, medium well, and we didn’t have to wait for a new one. also took us way too long to get our card back so we could leave. Not impressed. Maybe needs to be staffed better.
