I had the ribeye and it was cooked to perfection (medium rare) the baked potato was awesome. I normally didn't eat the skin but it wasn't dry and hard like other places. The salad was very good too. 4 stars for food for the same reason as last time, no bread. It would up game so much. But that's just me, I'm a bread freak with a steak dinner. At least a roll or something. My husband had the lake perch with fries and... View all feedback.
What Allen Foxall doesn't like about The Brass Rail And Grill:
The establishment looks nice on the outside then you go in and the family area has stained plastic black table cloths! This is far and away the worst experience I have ever had! The McDonalds is more luxurious than this dive! The service was deplorable! Our waitress was more concerned about her tween daughter's steak she got than my wife's order as well as my own! This is a white trash bistro! Stay away! I will never... View all feedback.

This is a white trash bistro! Stay away! I will never return to this dive of a restaurant! I award you no stars and may God have mercy on your soul!

The salad was very good too. 4 stars for food for the same reason as last time, no bread. It would up game so much. But that's just me, I'm a bread freak with a steak dinner. At least a roll or something. My husband had the lake perch with fries and cole slaw. I noticed he didn't eat the slaw which must not have been to his liking because my man usually eats everything in front of him lol Service was very good and we really enjoyed the atmosphere there. Highly recommend. Prices were what we expected for what we ordered. Three meals, two steak dinners and the fish for $93 $20 tip.
The seating was in need of a serious upgrade. The artichoke dip had so much grease that we could drain it by lifting up one side of the dish. My pretzel turkey sandwich was lunch meat (not even warmed). The only thing I could tolerate was the couple of bites of perch my fiancé had offered me. Don’t come here!
Dark room and quiet when we went in later afternoon. Food was OK menu was typical bar food, and service was quick and friendly. Onion rings were spot on.
Great food, service was great and love the atmosphere of the old building!!
