What User doesn't like about The Black Horse:
booked online and the booking was accepted and I received an email confirming the booking, but we drove 45 minutes to get there and found it closed. what a color, not only in the name of the black horse, but open View all feedback.
This charming little pub in a rural village is a perfect spot for relaxation. I enjoyed sitting by the fire with a beer, watching the storm roll in with the boss. And honestly, any place that has a Gatling gun is just incredible in my opinion!
I ordered a meal for my family and myself, and my son had a burger from the children's menu. Unfortunately, the burger was burnt, and the salad garnish was drenched in French dressing, despite our request to have it left off. We spoke to the person in charge about our concerns, but we weren't offered any kind of discount. I was completely disgusted with the service and would advise others to avoid this restaurant, as the food is not prepared properly, and complaints are handled with indifference.
