Les Dunes - Plonévez-Porzay

We stayed in a local hotel and found this restaurant by TA. The location is facing the beach and we experienced beautiful sunsets. The food was delicious very fresh fish and efficient and friendly restauranters. We decided to come here last night, but as they wanted to be closed, we drove for two nights! Great both times!

We ate twice at Les Dunes during a holiday at nearby Kervel. The restaurant has a lovely location by the beach, and we were blessed with sunny weather for the week we were in the area. The food was wonderful, especially the seafood, and the service was just right. We booked the first visit using Facebook, so don’t worry if your French isn’t up to booking by phone.

A delicious meal in a slightly old fashioned but charming setting with wonderful views of the sunset. Our whole party enjoyed their meals immensely in particular, the turbot (the catch of the day) was outstanding and perfectly cooked. Also the scallops were divine! Contrary to other reviewers, I do think that the prices reflect the excellent quality of the food served and are not high compared to other establishments in the area. Very good service from charming staff nothing was too much trouble for them. Highly recommended all round.

We came very last minute to dinner on a beautiful summer evening and found out that this was a pretty popular restaurant. They couldn't put us on an outside table, although we said we were fast (with two young children, so we have a table inside. Interestingly, the outdoor tables were still free for one and a half hours. The food was a bit more expensive than other restaurants in the area and was very good (the bread was amazing! . The disadvantage of this place was the inflexible and sometimes rather cold service (the manager, must be said, was very nice, some of which, in typical French manner, seemed from any request you might have. It is just a shame to have the feeling that this restaurant has a monopoly in the area and for the price does not live until service. Great location!

Il existe 2 salles dans ce restaurant mais avec une carte commune. Si une des salles à une ambiance gastro, des nappes sur les tables l'autre est d'un autre temps... table sans nappe, crépi du bar plus que douteux, chaise classique... la vue mer n'excuse pas tout
