Took a short walk into Plogastel Saint Germain for lunch at Le Kastel. They have a simple format, buffet of salad and cold meat to start, choice of two meats (beef steak or ham on the day we visited) and desserts or cheese -- all for euro11 per head with bread, wine or soft drinks. This must be the most unpleasant thing we have experienced in every place in Brittany. We were advised by the reception at the place where we lived that reservations were not possible and therefore we had to arrive early to get a table. We were... the first two people who arrived, and yet we were told that there was no availability as every table was booked! Our accents gave us away, but we stayed for a drink anyway,... My favorite restaurant in Finistère, we eat very well, the restaurant is cozy and above all Mariejo and Marie-Reine are adorable, the people of Marseille thank you for all the good times spent in your restaurant
