My husband and I dined with another couple, and we enjoyed a lovely evening outside in beautiful weather. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was exceptional—some of the best Indian cuisine I've ever experienced. What kevinb doesn't like about Frontier Spice Pleasanton:
Read great reviews on Yelp so gave it a try. The food was just okay. Usually Indian food is full of complex flavors and spices. This time it was kinda bland. The five spice calamari, the lamb vindalo and the PeshawarI chana (chickpeas) were all missing something. Even the garlic naan seemed a bit flat. The samosas almost saved the day, but the scale was already tipped too far in the wrong direction. View all feedback.
Always good. Wonderful service. We try to visit this gem at least once per month. You won't be disappointed.
This was our first time at Frontier Spice, and it certainly will not be our last. The food was phenomenal! The lamb curry was melt in your mouth wonderful. The service was a bit slow, but there was a very large party of 20+ there at the same time, so it was understandable.
Good food and great service. great menu recommendation from server.

Some of the dishes we had were delicious, but my main course, a shrimp dish, had shrimp that was very overdone.
