I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The staff was incredibly helpful and the salt and pepper fish was the best I've ever had. Whenever I'm in town, I will definitely make a point to come back and enjoy the delicious food. View all feedback.

The reviewer loves to joke around with the staff and always orders Mongolian beef and Chinese tacos, which they refer to as Mushu.
If you enjoy Chinese food with a heavy dose of grease, Yan's Garden is the place for you. After a long day at work, I was craving some Chinese food and decided to give this restaurant a try. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the food. Everything was oily and lacked flavor. The Salt and Pepper Pork Chops tasted like Funnel Cake, the Sesame Chicken was bland and mushy, and the Chicken Chow Mein was also lacking in flavor. The Sichuan Beef was the best of the bunch, but still overly oily. Overall, the food made me feel sick and I experienced unpleasant stomach issues the next day. I will not be returning to this restaurant and I recommend others to avoid it as well. Disappointing and gross.
I have dined at many Chinese restaurants throughout my life, and at nearly 70 years old, I have found the best place to be Shan Shan Low on Willow Pass Road in Concord. The food is always fresh and delicious, and I have been a loyal customer for over 28 years. However, on a recent evening out with my wife, we decided to try Yan's Garden. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. We spent over $50 on our meal, only to be served food that was subpar. The lemon chicken was chewy, old, and cold, and the accompanying butter lemon sauce lacked any real lemon flavor. The fried prawns seemed to be of low quality, likely frozen and not fresh. The hot and sour soup was also lacking, with an unidentified ingredient that ruined the taste. The restaurant was practically empty when we arrived, with only the front desk attendant and her children playing in the empty dining area. To make matters worse, they did not even serve hot tea, which I found to be quite surprising for a Chinese restaurant. Overall, I was thoroughly disappointed with the quality of the food and service, and I will not be returning to Yan's Garden in the future.
This is my kids' favorite restaurant and our go-to for weeknight dinners. We always order the potstickers and the lettuce wraps but everything we've had so far is also good. It is very kid friendly and they will put kids cartoons in the big screen to give parents a few moments of peace.
Probably the best Chinese restaurant in the PH Mtz concord area. Fresh ingredients, solid flavors good selection. Large portions and very reasonably priced ... it takes a little longer than most other places but worth the slightly extra wait for hot fresh. It's an obscure strip mall so also plenty of parking.
