Ohana Hawaiian Bbq - Pleasant Hill

Bbq Platte, loco moko and Spam musubi to name some in my rotation!

This is one of my family visits. All food is great, really generous portions. I love the #1, a mixture of chicken, beef and a short rib with rice and their macaroni salad. The Mac salad is so easy, but crazy delicious. Even all the years I've done there get meals for the whole family, I never did, not even went away with my order in any way wrong.

For the past three years I've been here, I feel disappointed at the food. Today I and my mother went to get a late lunch, and after we got our food and we realized that our meat was so much bone and fat, we pulled out of the meat that was not chewing or had too much fat, but after we put all the pieces together we realized that all Peices were just fat and really chew. we enjoyed our rice with the macaroni as usual, we did not think that two had too much of another taste. were only surprised with the quality of the food we got, me and my family love this restaurant and will always get it when we can, we hope only that their quality will not be so every time.

So out of all the Hawaiian BBQs in the area (and concord), I think this is definitely one of the better ones. It's Very consistent and you know what you're getting. I only get the chicken katsu from here, so can't comment on other stuff, but generally its very good and I like the sauce and macaroni salad. I come here regularly. The phones could be answered faster, but I understand they are short staffed at times.

Food was awesome ?. Really enjoyed Meal #1. Came with variety of beef chicken and a riblet.. flavor was great. Came with side of rice. Sauce was great.. chicken was my favorite. Definitely recommend this place..
