Magoo's Grill - Pleasant Hill

Great place to hang your hat after a long day . Friendly kinda local place with generous portions. Not your gourmet kinda place but more like the local Cheers hangout. Comfortable place to go alone and watch a game.

Food was not the best but not bad either, blood orange beer was great. The service was kind of slow even when it wasn't too full. Bartender was very nice.

Ordered the prime rib special with a side of brussel sprouts. They only pan fried the brussel sprouts and didn't cut the stems off. Very hard and raw. Needed to be baked. For me I don't like the meat too rare so they did pan fry it for me to order. Friendly staff but severely understaffed. I don't drink so I don't know about the bar service.

Very nice place food is amazing. This is my second time coming and will be coming more often. Our server was sweet girl name Huda she was very friendly. I love the bread!!!

Cheers-like bar atmosphere. Mediocre food. I had a burger that was dry and tasteless as day-old popcorn. Go for the drinks and avoid the food.
