Hubby’s pancakes were huge, the coffee was decent and bo... read more Didn’t get any food pictures of brunch at Sunset West Restaurant, but the food was standard diner fare. Hubby’s pancakes were huge, the coffee was decent and bottomless, my breakfast special was cooked well, eggs, potatoes and bacon, which was so thin it was translucent ?, our 7 year old Granddaughter loved her grilled cheese, which looked pretty average but if our discerning Granddaughter likes it, it’s a win! The older Granddaughter and her Mom really liked the Hash Browns and cream cheese frosted cinnamon roll. The prices are reasonable and I could see why the place was packed. Not sure that I’d make the drive out to Pleasant Gap specifically to eat here again, but it was a fun excursion with the family. If diner food is your thing, this is a solid place.

The scrambled eggs were brown, the toast was more like bread than toast, and the homefries looked like they had been reheated several times. They only take cash which they didn't tell us about until we went to pay. That was our first and last time we will be eating there!
