Susanna's California Cuisine Restaurant

I went to Susanna's tonight around 8pm after a long day of work to relax, have a drink and a nice dinner by myself... when I got there, I asked the waiter what time the kitchen closed and he said 9:30. So I took my time to eat and read a book... a few minutes before 9pm, a waitress asked me if I was going to order anything else because the bar and kitchen were closing at 9... So I told her that the other waiter had said 9:30 and she said that because I was the only customer there, they were closing early. I hadn't even finished my food yet... I was thinking of ordering dessert and having another drink but she just rushed my out. That's just horrible service. I am very disappointed.

I visited the restaurant today for lunch with a friend and it was exactly what was expected hearing from a friend that was there before. Susanne the owner is extremely friendly and knowledgeable and her staff are professional kind and very kind. Julio was the gentleman that was hosting and his service was unbelievable. We loved everything that we ordered. Ceviche was one of the best I’ve ever had.

Went here for lunch with family as it was very recommended. It has a lovely location and atmosphere and very good service. I tried their version of tamales which were excellent and very tasty. Also had a very refreshing sparkling lemonade.

We have visited Susanna's numerous times and we have never been disappointed. This was no exception. From wine recommendations to expertly prepared and presented dishes, you will experience a delightful culinary journey. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable and helped us navigate some food sensitivity issues. The atmosphere is like being at home with friends and family--warm and intimate.

This restaurant was not only pretty and relaxing but service was exceptional. Our waitress and her assistant (the guy with the hat) were so warm and friendly. Genuinely good people. Now, the food? I have never liked crab cakes. Their Crab Rangoon with Lemon/dill sauce was (as my mom says) to die for. The Mediterranean salad? Good lord, the best ever. The pasta dishes. Perfection. Large portions of everything too. Margaritas with fresh lime juice? Sooooo good. Ok. That about does it. Going back soon.
