This relaxed coffee shop in Playa is perfect for a post-surf session. I visited on a Saturday morning around 9:30 AM and found a short line that moved quickly. There’s both indoor and outdoor seating available. FOR YEARS I have been searching for a coffee shop that has that local, small-town feeling. Personal and personable touch, great staff, and a sense of, 'don 't be a pretentious jerk. Be polite. ' Love it!
In addition to awesome food, coffee and smoothies, this place has a welcoming and friendly vibe due to its service-oriented staff, which manages to be both laid-back AND efficient.
Great selection of coffee among other snacks, sandwiches, desserts. A lil bit of everything and great music playing, diverse crowd, plus awesome service.
Recommend this nice local coffee shop with courteous service and good prices. Locals and travelers alike congregate here for sustenance, coffee and conversation. Interior displays historical photos of the area which is cool. Choices of food widely range to try and satisfy different diets.
I hadn't enjoyed a good mocha in Los Angeles until I discovered this place. The coffee was excellent, and the orange cranberry scone was delightful. The food menu also looked appealing, and overall, the atmosphere of the restaurant was fantastic.
