La Cazuela is the drink that I suggest everyone to try. Also the octopus tostadas are good. This place is owned by two brothers Luis and Gilberto. The service was fantastic. May I mention Victor that owns a souvenir stand across the way that frequents this bar. We talked with him & found him to be one of the most interesting guys. He can tell you so much about Mayan culture. La Pechita was one of my favorite spots. I... View all feedback.

A group of came here. We were all impressed with the food and price. All but I got the Ahi Tuna Tostada and was amazed. I was planning on coming back to have again and try other food, but one person in the...group, never got her burrito. We had to ask twice. They made no apologies. We were all done eating our food and she still had not received hers. And not any attempt to get it to her quickly or at all. Other peopl... View all feedback.
I loved the tuna and we had the fried ice so good. my man has the burittas that were excellent. they only make the food when it is so fresh. two bee 60 pecoses. two mohjitas 150 pesos, best deal on 5. the waiter brasseo nit sure he spells adorably.
We stopped by La Pechita recently a quiet spot along the North end of 5th Avenue they have 4 tables outside and 4 inside a great spot to ease away from the hustle of 5th and enjoy some great local food we...had the burrito's (chicken and beef) both filling and tasty had no beans in them more like a fajita in regards to the ingredients our compliments to the chef the folks at the table beside us ordered a hamburger it looked awesome and they complimented the staff on its quality we will try that next visit yes, a burger isn't exactly local' but it is cooked locally thus it counts
We happened to stop there while looking for a place to celebrate New Year over some nice mojitos. The fact that there was only one other couple sitting there in otherwise packed joints should have rung the bell. But we always give benefit of the...doubt to places and decided to try them. We ordered 2 mojitos to start. The drink they brought was anything but it: it felt like bad tap water with a teaspoon of rotten lemon juice, a few mint leaves and no alcohol at all. I almost spat it out. My daughter tried to finish hers out of politeness, but she shouldn’t have done it as she paid later for it with a case of severe diarrhea. When we tried to pay and leave, the waiter got rude, did not bring change for a very long time and when I reminded him we are waiting for it, got even ruder and almost slammed pesos on the table with the exchange rate that was borderline robbery). I think the expectation of this place was that we would be drunk and had no idea what we were drinking and how much we were paying. Be aware of places like this. This was the only place out of multiple venues we visited during our 2 week stay that treated us this way.
We stopped at La Pechita just for a drink and we finished with excellent tacos and burritos, probably the best that we ate during our trip in Mexico. The food is homemade and very, very tasty. Staff is very sympathic and prices are very low...! A very good place to enjoy an evening after a day at the beach !
Stopped in on the way home, with some friends, for a beer. We ended up trying their vodka cucumber drink, and it was amazing! We stayed for 3. The shrimp taco is great too. It was served with fresh grilled habanero
