This was my 2nd visit to El Pirata; my first time being back in April and let me tell you…I WAS IN HEAVEN. I don’t consider myself a foodie, but I do have a pretty refined palate and the fried Red Snapper with garlic was...EXCELLENT. it was crispy, but juicy and very flavorful. The small portion of rice was perfect as I’m watching my carbs. The salad and beans were a plus. I can’t say enough about how good the meal.... View all feedback.

After hearing how wonderful this place was, we gave it a try. we ordered the sea bass in garlic butter oil. the portion was a good size came with rice, borrowing and a coleslaw type salate. the only problem that it. so much oily garlic that we did not really taste the fish. it is also cooked more cooked. You could eat there again, but try something else. View all feedback.
I met some people who recommended the shrimp ceviche, today I went there and tried to visit very well if they can
Another great meal from el pirata, selected my fish and we shared the special cerveche and wash it all with a large fresh margarita.
I had the fried fish, red snapper... big disappointment: it was dry, almost burnt, chewy, and not crispy... the rice was cold and a bit dry as well... and yes, they cheated on the bill...
Food is good for its price and location. Considering that it’s a tiny and very casual restaurant, their narrow selection of food is fair. We ordered 6 dishes in total and had to remind it to the waiter. Hot dish came cold. The place is...open air so it is extremely hot and crowded. They have huge fans yet very hot… Overall the experience is not so impressive but low prices can compensate almost everything. If you expect something nice and cozy, this is not the place but I repeat, it’s very reasonable. Just bring cash, otherwise you have to go to a nearby ATM machine on the street or a nearby convenience store to withdraw cash (and try your Spanish! .

Pick your fish and have them do it up for you. You won’t be disappointed.
