Curry Omm - Playa del Carmen

Passed this little place completely by chance but we were drawn in by the simply divine aromas wafting into the street from here. The staff and the owner were the perfect level of attentive yet not over encroaching giving us recommendations on food and places to go after we finished our meal. Then there was the food, absolutely delicious with plenty to go around. Would not hesitate to go back and revisit!

Wow everything was incredible, from the warm hospitality of Haresh to the aromatic naan bread being cooked in front of us in the tandoor, to the wonderful array of flavors delightfully surprising our palettes...probably the best Indian restaurants we've visited internationally and definitely our favorite. Highly recommended

My aunt wanted to try this Indian restaurant for a while. When we arrived we saw an Indian family eating inside and we knew it would be good. We ordered the butter chicken and a version of the tandoori chicken in a sauce. The chicken were delicious but lacked some spices. The Naan and garlic Naan bread were excellent and tasty as well as the rice. Go if you are in the mood for some Indian food.

We went here with high hopes and all seemed well. We ordered staters and mains, starters came and were nice. The mains came and one was wrong due to a misunderstanding at ordering, they changed the dish no problem but it meant my wife had finished before mine came. My wife enjoyed hers but mine was a little underwhelming. I also suspect the naan bread came out if a packet. We were the only ones in and they were putting the chairs up while we were eating so felt a little rushed, maybe caught them on a bad night.
