Only did the restaurant, not the hotel. Although I like occasional steak, I am not a steak person, especially after a hot day on the beach. So, this review is tainted by having ordered non steak dishes. Not great. Mine was an Argentinian specialty, a sort of thin dry breaded chicken of some sort cutlet that was just short tasting like an old shoe. However, my wife had chicken fajitas, which was somewhat better, but unusually in a sort of teriyaki soya sauce definitely not Mexican. Stick to thesteak and you will likely write a better review than this one. Service was nice.

We had to cancel our reservation at another restaurant because the New Year traffic was so heavy. We happened to drive past El Colibri. I'm glad we did because they were able to seat us quickly and the food was great. We split the platter for 2 and it could have easily fed 3. Definitely recommend.

Review for the steak house: Loved it. Super nice people, delicious steaks, good prices. Highly recommend. Much better than anything we saw in nearby Samara.

We have stayed at this beautiful small hotel and loved it. Tonight we visited just for dinner. We live in Costa Rica now and can happily say they have the best steaks we have had in any region and every appetizer, main and dessert was outstanding! Love this place!
