Baan Thai - Plauen

Eating was very good, the service was very good. general a very good price performance ratios!!!!

I have been here twice now and both times it has been excellent - huge portions of really delicious food with a nice atmosphere and friendly service. I found the price to be very cheap and there is such a wide selection you are sure to find something that takes your fancy.

We were in the Baan Thai at lunchtime and I was very excited due to the reviews we were expecting.The ambiente is quite elaborate. a lot of bambus and a little kitty.The service is good.I ordered a lunch dish with 3 sorts meat (probably filet stripes of bark, black and bun) with sweet ginger and coriander. As an appetizer there was a vegetable soup.The suppe was tasty and let the anticipation rise to the main dish.Son shortly after that, two dishes were brought on a hot plate, as well as the rice. visually very appealing I shoved rice and from the main dish on my empty plate.The sweet (paprika, wobble, bambus, zucchini) was fresh and the taste itself was quite thin and little spiced. a small tablet with soy sauce and a small sambal oelek was placed on request. the sambal was sharp, but additionally had a very dominant salty-saure taste.I couldn't taste the ingwer.The biggest manko was the meat, this was of extremely low quality. the crowning was a piece of infinable meat with a small crack and the rest of cartilaged consistency. I can't remember ever getting such an eclectic superior. Overall, so disappointing. I won't eat here anymore.

We are really happy here! eating is really delicious, the service friendly and the prices are cheap.

... it's me how baan thai came to square 4 of the best restaurants plauens.The service is friendly - yes. eating is clearly below average.I don't want to get too close to the plumen. but perhaps they simply lack the comparison.
