Mainely Lobster Seafood - Plattsburgh

I happened to stop in here on twin lobster night. Great deal on two perfectly cooked whole lobsters. If I’m ever back in this area this will be the place I go first for dinner.

Amazing place. The staff were simply incredible. They were friendly, professional (very professional), knowledgeable, and, well, amazing. The atmosphere, great, exactly what you would expect a fish joint to look like that's been around for 34 years, and very clean. The food. Simply amazing as well. Starter, we shared a bowl of fish chowder, so fresh, the fish so tender, we loved it. Mains,I had the whole belly clam with fries and coleslaw. Tasted great, so fresh, you would think you were in Portland, fries, homemade and it tastes it. Coleslaw, I prefer creamy, this was not, and, no surprise, I liked it. Wife had the. Seafood casserole and fried and coleslaw. If she could 10 out of 5 on the casserole, she would. Creamy, fresh, delicious, the shrimp and scallops tender to perfection, the haddock just right. So yes, highly recommend the place.

We didn’t know what to expect. it was a mom and Pop restaurant with super friendly staff very efficient very clean, but the food was out of this world. We had seafood casserole with two sides and moxie which is a drink only in Maine. The waitress told us where we could get it locally so we went and got two cases. My stomach was feeling very well when we got there. Moxie actually made it feel a lot better.

Great fresh seafood. Wings are also delicious. Sandy, our waitress was awesome

Food is good no doubt but the warm smiles of people who work here is what makes this place special.
