Tanner's Platte City

From the moment I walked through the door and stuck to EVERYTHING, TIL we all left, one disappointment to another

One of the worst hamburgers I’ve had in long time. Used to eating at Tanners in Overland Park their hamburgers are excellent so expected the same quality at this Tanners. What a disappointment. Ask for onions mushrooms on the burger barely any onion. Hamburger small very thick. Was supposed to be medium but it was more like well done very dry. Wouldn’t eat another one there. Appetizer spicy cheese balls good. Server was excellent. She was attentive but did not hover she was extremely pleasant!!!

One of the best bar and restaurants in the Northland area and possibly the best restaurant in Platte City. They have a large selection of beer on tap from domestics to imports. The food is great and arrives fast. I would recommend the chicken or steak Philly with tots. A+

12/10/23 We had many items that were not available then the cook came out of the kitchen amd told my table of 8 that we were nothing but problems and verbally assaulted us. Then the front of house manager told us to just pay amd leave. Never ever again. Food was terrible and staff was verry

For the only bar n grill in Platte city I’m pleased with the service just wish the food had some flavor.
