First time visiting Koume Japan and I absolutely loved it!!! From the moment you walk in, you feel like you’re in a different place. The servers are very nice but what takes the prize is the food. We stopped in due to yelp reviews while in area. Just as everyone says the presentations and food were very good. While there we felt always rushed. They couldn't wait to take the plates away. At one point I had to say, would you mind if I finished that. We didn't even finish our drinks and there was the check. Seems like they wanted the table even though there were open ones. The food was absolutely top-notch, earning a perfect score of 5 stars. Each dish was bursting with flavor, and the presentation was exquisite. The service was equally impressive; the staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Lastly, the atmosphere of the restaurant was delightful, creating a warm and inviting setting that enhanced our meal. Overall, I highly recommend this place for a fantastic dining experience!
10/10! Toshi is an amazing guy and provides excellent service. The restaurant has an intimate small setting with mirrored windows that offer privacy and help regulate the temperature. There's a small staff: one waitress and Toshi himself serving tables and engaging with guests. The food is fantastic. It's conveniently located across from Volunteer Park. The pricing is great, and the overall experience is wonderful. I'll definitely be returning!
This restaurant is absolutely adorable! All of our lunch dishes were beautifully presented with anime characters, which my daughter found delightful. They offer fantastic lunch specials and the portion sizes are generous. While the sushi isn't on par with what you'd find at a five-star restaurant, it definitely exceeds expectations for the price. The quality is average, but overall, it provides a really charming experience.
