Contribute Feedback What Jaylon Heathcote likes about Barnes Noble:
I visited Barnes & Noble in Plantation for 3 to 4 days a week for 4 months straight to study for a state exam. The location was ideal for my needs - it was quiet, the staff was friendly and accommodating. When I needed a quick snack or drink, the café was there to satisfy my hunger and thirst. By the way, I passed my test with flying colors. Thank you. View all feedback.
What Diana Christiansen doesn't like about Barnes Noble:
The bookstore is well maintained. But, for it to have a Starbucks styled area you'd presume there would be outlets. NOPE. How about no where in the entire building... yep you got it. Had to go to the bathroom to charge laptop and download files. Glad there's a place to purchase good literature but no accommodations at all. Bathroom was clean and the staff was nice. Just was very unaccomidating. View all feedback.
Thanks to the quality, in this high-tech age, there are still bookstores for those of us who prefer to read from a book instead of a tablet! This Barnes and Noble has been my go-to store for many years, and they never disappoint. I did some serious holiday shopping yesterday and found everything on my list and more. I enjoyed an ice cold latte in their coffee shop, surrounded by walls. The staff is young and hip, helpful and pleasant, and the store is just the right size to spend time in, convenient. They have a pretty good selection of Spanish books, and I wish they could add some Italian language books with timelines and timeliness. You can also find beautiful Christmas cards, wrapping paper, and a variety of Godiva chocolates when you need a gift for a hostess. There is plenty of free parking and it's just a stone's throw from Macy's.

I love the atmosphere of the coffee shop, it feels cozy and the food is delicious. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food from Dieucks.
Barnes and Noble on University Dr is a place that is worth going and returning every time. The extensive selection of books and magazines is great. I always find what I am looking for on their shelves. Great place to see, select and grab the books in person.
We decided to get a present for our granddaughter's elementary school teacher. Got her teacher a Harry Potter book Harry Potter Book Clip because apparently she enjoys the series. Later we'll be purchasing a Dunkin Donuts Gift Card because apparently she loves D&D as well.
