My husband and I ate here for the first time on Saturday. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food was AMAZING. Best Dimsum!!!! It was so good. My husband ordered the Mongolian beef and said that it was the best tasting Mongolian beef he has ever had. We will definitely be back.
If you're craving dim sum but want to avoid long waits, crowded carts, and high prices, Zhang's Kitchen is the place to go. They offer friendly service, affordable prices, and dim sum served piping hot. The seafood pan-fried noodles come generously loaded and are served on a large plate. While the dim sum dumplings may not be as delicate as those at upscale restaurants, the taste, quality, and value are spot on.
**Pros:** 1. The prices are more affordable compared to Li Min on Preston, where similar dishes cost at least $3 more. 2. Certain items, such as the lotus rice and buns, were of acceptable quality. 3. If you visit when the restaurant opens, the wait time is shorter than at Kiran Court. **Cons:** 1. The service was notably slow; our food took 30 minutes to arrive. 2. Some dishes, like the fried tofu, had undercooked shrimp, indicating a possible rush in the kitchen. 3. While the buns and pastries tasted decent, they were visually unappealing—certainly not the work of a skilled dim sum chef. 4. The restaurant was unclean and could greatly benefit from a thorough cleaning. If cleanliness isn't a major concern for you, it may still be bearable. 5. The rice rolls were disappointing; they were not soft at all and actually had a hard texture. Overall, I noticed some potential for improvement, but there is still significant room for growth.
