I had a very disappointing experience at this location. I've been to at least four others before, and this one did not meet my expectations at all. The wings were overcooked on the outside, resulting in tough skin that was unappetizing. When I requested a new batch, I was told they have to prepare them this way to ensure they’re cooked through, which essentially meant "no." Additionally, the wings were over-seasoned, leaving my mouth feeling puckered. The drinks were also off balance—either too much of one ingredient or not enough of another. It really seems like quality control needs to improve at this restaurant.
I ordered a shrimp and fry combo, but I was disappointed to find that it mostly included unappetizing, stale fries with just a few shrimp. The only dipping sauce offered was ranch—there weren’t any other sauces or dips, which meant I had to eat the dish almost dry. I also requested Cajun fries but was served garlic fries instead, which were excessively salty. The shrimp were bland, lacking any distinct flavor or appealing appearance, presenting a dull pinkish-brown color. I found the menu quite confusing, with many unfamiliar items that made it difficult to decide what to order. The woman at the counter seemed irritated by my indecisiveness, even though my friend and I were the only customers at the time. We ended up spending over two hours there mainly chatting and hardly eating anything. I really wanted to write a positive review, especially since the location is convenient right off the 75, but the lack of atmosphere and variety in the food left much to be desired. I’m truly disappointed because I was hoping to find a unique spot like this, rather than the typical options available nearby.
Zero Degrees is my top choice whenever I'm in the mood for boba and snacks. I'm absolutely in love with their Ube Milkshake! I also frequently get their Thai tea and lychee drink, both of which are fantastic. Their fried snacks are amazing; the chicken bites and garlic fries are superb! The service is typically quick, but if you want to skip the wait, you can always call ahead to place your order.
Zero Degrees is a great spot for drinks with a wide variety of options. I didn’t try the food, but it looked appealing. I appreciate that they offer unique choices beyond the typical bubble tea and coffee. Our group ordered four drinks, and they were all fantastic. The watermelon was very refreshing, the strawberry was delicious, and the mangonada was outstanding—I can definitely see why it’s one of their signature favorites!
The food at Zero Degrees was pretty good, featuring a great variety like corn with hot Cheetos, mangonadas, wings, and more. It is a bit on the expensive side, though—I paid around $20 for six wings and the Cheeto corn. If you’re craving something like this, I’d definitely recommend giving it a try!
