Velvet Taco - Plano

I used to not like velvet taco, but honestly, they are good. This franchise is getting bigger every day, and it has a reason. Variety of options, occasional menu, being open until late, amazing margaritas, and many more features made this restaurant fabulous. No wonder they open new branches every day. Please keep it amazing as you grow.

Best place in DFW for a 30 minute meal. Great tacos and margaritas, good draft beer selection and ample other beverage choices. Very good guacamole as well. You can be in and out in less than 30 minutes without feeling rushed. Dining areas are sparse and noisy but don't kill the vibe. Prices are rising, though, and might reach rhe point where another spot seems a better value.Parking: Please stay within the lines. You look like an idiot if you can't manage this simple task.

I have loved this place in the past... Bad experience. 4 of 6 taco orders were wrong. Pancake tortillas on regular breakfast tacos, soggy bacon, all adult beverages now premade and still same price, pork belly soaked in sugar, salsa verde was chimichurri, bottled salsa was Cholula with color. Hope they fix it. Definitely not a $60 meal for 3 and get suckered for the pre populated 15% counter tip.

The food was excellent when it finally got here. My initial order was stolen by the driver, and had to be reordered.

Love this place, but there was a half a wishbone in my rotisserie chicken taco this evening. Few months ago there was a hair in the salmon one, and they were very kind about comping it. Okay. Lovely. But tonight I'm still feeling the pain in my front teeth. Ended up being 2 bones in all. Someone needs to oversee the prep team. Please.
