I wish I could give this place 5 stars, but I just can’t.Waitstaff is efficient. Dining area was clean. Unagi was delicious.However, I had the worst volcano roll in my life here. It was the California roll with sliced mushrooms(?? , some kind of meat (fish? Scallops? Idk , and then a huge glob of MAYONNAISE with some roe sprinkles.Look, I know the sauce used for the volcano roll is mayo based, but this was literally just plain mayo. No spice to it, no color, nothing. It was beyond awful. It wasn’t even warm.I wish I’d taken a picture of it… and then sent it back. I was having lunch with a friend I hadn’t seen in years and didn’t want to disrupt our good time. Instead I just scraped off the mayo and ate the rest, but it was not at all enjoyable.I won’t be back.
This is the best sushi in the DFW area! Be sure to ask for the special menu and don’t miss out on ordering the BTS! Simon's is BYOB, so feel free to bring your favorite drinks! Food: 5/5
This restaurant undeniably offers the best sushi in Plano. The tako and seaweed salad are the best I've tasted from any establishment. The rolls are excellent, the fish is fresh, and the portions are generous. Food: 5/5
I recently visited Simon's Sushi for the first time and enjoyed three delicious sushi rolls. The flavors were fantastic, and the customer service was outstanding and very attentive. I believe I've found my new favorite sushi spot.
Simon’s Sushi offers the best sushi and sashimi you’ll ever taste. Family-owned for 19 years, this place consistently delivers excellence. I can’t recommend it enough, and Simon and his family are wonderful people too!
