I had an issue with my DoorDash order and drove to the store myself since it was never delivered. I was already having a stressful day and then my food was stolen from the delivery driver. Carlos greeted me when I walked in and immediately wanted to make the situation right. He remade my salad and his genuine kindness really turned my day around. What BRI (Bri) doesn't like about Newk's Eatery:
I do love this place but every time I come there are no parking spots in the “grab n go” and ppl parked there are in there eating and not just curbside. It’s very annoying how people take up these parking when they go eat View all feedback.

Had a flat crust veggie pizza and sometimes the staff shop at my store Tom thumb. Had the new french dip sandwich with pasta

Had to cancel our order because our people were sick from covid. The restaurant instead of charging a nominal cancelation fee for an order they did not start making and didn't order any extra items for, wanted to be greedy and charge the entire $957 for not being bale to make the food. Terrible customer service. We can understand a nominal cancelation fee but the entite price for something you didn't even start making? GREEDY! On out list as a company that has lost our money for the future.
This used be, not only, one of the best experiences with great food around, but a pretty good bargain...the reason we stopped mid-shop at Christmas.Lack of staff, those present serving cold soup, wrong orders, orders in parts (not just to us...witnessed with other upset customers) and employees seemingly put out, or with no affect on the other end with requests for corrections.The food was would be the savior....cold, changed recipes and ordered from our phones (still requiring help from staff, as all options are not available)...again, a week before Christmas.If this is not a time for full staff and service...when is?
